Their technology connects autonomous machines and equipment in real-time, with typical deployments in ports, factories, and similar facilities where heavy automation depends on reliable connectivity.

The company builds 2 core products: a 5G wireless connectivity platform delivering ultra-low latency networks on standard IT infrastructure, and an AI positioning system for real-time location tracking that works with any 5G network as a cost-effective GPS backup. Their solutions enable digital twins and autonomous machinery to operate with split-second accuracy, processing millions of data points daily for system integrators and enterprises across multiple continents.

When the client hired ELITEX as a dedicated development team in 2017, their core systems were fully operational, but lacked the management interfaces and UI functionality that would make the technology easy to control for integrators and enterprise clients. The client's in-house team had strong hardware expertise and solid data processing applications, but needed external help on the operator-facing software layer.

Multithreading proved the most complex challenge. Race conditions emerged when a single service controlled multiple radio units simultaneously. As a part of the client’s team, ELITEX specialists developed synchronization mechanisms to prevent thread conflicts while maintaining system awareness across all operational states.

During our collaboration, the architecture evolved from simple API endpoints to a multifunctional management system. Standard frameworks alone could not handle the work. The project required custom solutions for coordinating multiple microservices that managed different radio control aspects without interference. So our specialists implemented locking mechanisms and event-driven architecture to ensure data consistency across distributed components.

Project Management: Kanban methodology with sprint planning for task allocation before releases. Weekly client calls maintain alignment, with additional meetings as needed.
