- VITEC wanted to extend its core product suite and launch new offerings but needed external JavaScript and UI engineering depth to move faster without overloading its in-house team.
- ELITEX built a dedicated six-person team that delivered 2 parallel products. The first was an aftercare warranty solution extending the existing AngularJS codebase with new device management UI. The Challenge
Seeking to amplify the impact and breadth of its existing solutions (as well as forging new ones), VITEC turned to expanding its core engineering capabilities. The company was in search of a partner with deep expertise in JavaScript and UI design to bring fresh perspectives to their projects. Our Process and Solution
ELITEX began the entire IPTV app development process with assembling a strong engineering team consisting of:

Since the initiation of our partnership, the focus has been on developing two key products that enhance VITEC’s product suite. The first was an aftercare warranty solution aimed at maximizing system performance through regular software and firmware updates, support team access, and bug fixes. This solution also introduced additional user interface captions, allowing users to manage and upgrade their devices effectively. Our team of JavaScript engineers has adeptly utilized the AngularJS framework, which was previously used on the VITEC's software in order to create the front end of the product. At the same time, the quality assurance engineer ensured every feature functions seamlessly through rigorous stage-by-stage testing. As the development required special testing using proprietary hardware, (VITEC’s commercial TVs and samples of end-user devices) they were set up in ELITEX’s office.
The second initiative focused on developing a fully functional video analytics tool. This tool should offer detailed statistics regarding interactions with video and user engagement. Built from the ground up with contemporary technology like React and Node.js, this tool provides detailed insights into all kinds of user interactions with VITEC’s hardware and software on both the admin and user sides.
