ELITEX rescued an abandoned inventory management platform for eCommerce business and delivered a complete solution in three months.
Project takeover

Our client is a company that sells heavy equipment across the construction, demolition, recycling, and material processing industries. The company distributes crushers, screeners, conveyors, trommels, and specialized machinery from manufacturers like Terex EvoQuip and other industry leaders.
Their established website and digital distribution channels had already served customers nationwide, but the company decided to expand beyond their then-current capabilities. They wanted a custom inventory management solution that would also let customers track orders in real-time. This new platform would provide better visibility into purchase status while complementing their existing operations. The goal was simple: improve customer experience through better order transparency and enhance their own operations through better inventory management.
Our client began their search for a software vendor to build their custom inventory management platform. The company specifically wanted a zero-code infrastructure approach, as it could save resources and proved cost-efficient.
After evaluating multiple options, they selected a vendor who could implement this zero-code solution. However, things took an unexpected turn during the development. The original vendor discontinued their involvements partway through the project. The system was left incomplete and non-functional when the collaboration ended. That’s when the company reached out to ELITEX: they needed someone to salvage the existing work and finish what was started.
We began our involvement with a thorough assessment of the existing system and its current state. After analyzing the incomplete platform, we continued with all existing technologies. We additionally complemented the tech stack with other technologies and development practices that perfectly matched the zero-code essence of the project.
The technical stack included:
We assigned one of our top developers to handle the entire project. This specialist brought 15 years of full-stack development experience and a strong DevOps background to the table. He quickly identified opportunities to improve security and infrastructure while respecting the zero-code foundation.
Rather than creating unnecessary bureaucracy with complicated project management or assembling a large team, we provided direct access to a developer with solid technical expertise and excellent communication skills. This streamlined approach proved the most cost-efficient one for completing the platform quickly.
Our developer demonstrated flexibility throughout the project. He tackled frontend development, backend architecture, and new API implementation. Communication with the client remained collaborative throughout. The developer restructured the database, built proper system architecture, and implemented key DevOps practices into the development process. The timeline was tight but manageable. Starting in July, one programmer completed the entire system by late September. Three months. One developer. Full delivery.
We provided a single specialist with 15 years of software development experience and DevOps expertise. This single developer handled database structure, frontend interface, backend logic, and API development. Such a lean approach eliminated delays from team coordination and maintained consistent implementation across all components. Not to say it was cost-efficient.
We completed the abandoned project and built development/deployment pipelines from scratch. The platform became a hybrid system just as intended: part inventory management, part order tracking tool. ELITEX took an unfinished, half-done system and delivered a fully functional platform, handing it to the client for maintenance. The system now operates as the machinery company’s primary inventory management solution with integrated order tracking capabilities.
