The Challenge
Before Zippia decided to approach ELITEX, they had faced three major technical hurdles:
- Performance issues from outdated technology stack. The company needed to migrate from AngularJS to React to boost site load speed, a critical factor for their user retention and SEO rankings;
- **Data processing bottlenecks.** With millions of job listings and career trajectories to analyze, Zippia required specialized expertise to handle their massive datasets efficiently without compromising system performance.
- UX limitations affecting conversion rates. The platform needed a design overhaul to improve user experience while maintaining a steady flow of new components and page designs.

Our Process
We initiated our partnership with a thorough analysis of Zippia’s technical and design challenges. The discovery phase established a strategic migration roadmap from Angular to React. For this, our full-stack JavaScript engineers were embedded with Zippia’s in-house development team. It ensured knowledge transfer and consistent delivery standards.
As performance improvements became evident, we expanded our involvement to include specialized data engineers who tackled the complex data processing requirements essential for Zippia’s AI-driven career mapping features. Our UI/UX designer conducted thorough user research to identify friction points and conversion opportunities within the platform’s interface.

Eventually, for the largest portion of our partnership, the expanded remote team included specialized full-stack JavaScript engineers, a dedicated data engineer to process their complex datasets, and a UI/UX designer to enhance the platform’s visual appeal and usability.
